My Journey
Early Business Foundation
Started with Himmelstormer doing affiliate marketing and motion graphics, then co-founded Über Studio, an ambitious digital creative studio working with major brands like LEGO, Danisco, and Discovery Networks.
Key Insight:
Working with iconic brands like LEGO taught me the power of creative storytelling in digital experiences and the importance of combining creativity with solid business fundamentals.
The Advertising & Mobile Revolution
Co-founded and launched TradeTracker Denmark (later acquired), then built Leadmill into the leading Nordic mobile advertising platform, bootstrapping it to $15M revenue while maintaining positive EBITDA and reaching 500M users across 100+ countries.
Pivotal Moment:
Witnessing the mobile advertising explosion firsthand and learning how to scale globally while staying profitable. This experience taught me the delicate balance between rapid growth and sustainable business practices.
The AI Awakening
Co-founded Certainly, taking AI chatbots and AI agents from concept to an award-winning international platform serving enterprises like Zendesk, MrBeast and Ticketmaster. Also created and open-sourced Nordic BERT language models that outperformed Google and Stanford University models.
Defining Realization:
AI's potential to democratize intelligent experiences became clear. I learned the value of balancing commercial success with open-source contribution. Nordic BERT was downloaded extensively and accelerated Nordic language technology while demonstrating our technical edge.
Broad Impact & Leadership
Transitioned from pure entrepreneurship to broader impact: advising the Danish Government on AI strategy, contributing to "Doers & Dreamers" with 150 leading entrepreneurs, writing a chapter in "Agentbogen" on the rise of AI agents, and now leading AI initiatives at DI (Danish Industry) to make AI accessible for all Danish businesses.
AI for All:
Using everything I've learned to ensure AI benefits everyone, not just tech giants. Leading the "AI for All" team at DI taught me that true innovation happens when advanced technology becomes accessible to businesses of all sizes.
Leading the EG Intelligence Platform
Joined EG to lead and build the EG Intelligence Platform: an agentic platform and ecosystem that helps EG's 47,000 customers and two million business users think, plan, and complete tasks across EG products and third-party applications. EG has the three vital ingredients for staying competitive as AI rolls across industries: strong domain knowledge, domain data, and a large customer base hungry for AI.
Why this, why now:
A real shot at European sovereignty in software. AI-first leadership, two million business users, 47,000 customers, and software used by a third of the Nordic population. Now it's time to build.
Current Focus
Currently leading the EG Intelligence Platform at EG, while developing AI products on the side and sharing my learnings along the way. I am always open to connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators.
